Brainspotting is an experiential mind-body therapeutic process that focuses on identifying, processing, and releasing psychological distress, emotional stress, and stored trauma. Brainspotting works from the premise that “where you look affects how you feel,” and identifies eye positions (‘brain spots) that essentially become powerful doorways to unlocking deep-seated emotions, memories, and psychological content. Brainspotting can address and treat a wide range of issues such as anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, grief, addictions, fears/phobias, unproductive habits, and underperformance (performance enhancement), to name a few.
Much like EMDR, Brainspotting provides an organic process that allows the brain to activate its innate
capacity to re-wire, re-integrate and rebalance.
